Glimpses of miracles flash by just so one fights to make them gradually come true. So far nothing's succeeded and I've understood nothing. But perhaps it will come. Before the war I thought one lived to do things that were as right as possible, and after it to try and be as happy as possible. Perhaps one is simply meant to work and live in as dignified a way as one can. If it can be done.
